Learn about the different therapeutic and healing properties from an Indigenous perspective while exploring over 800 plant medicines with First Nation Healer Tina Eshkawkogan.

The Indigenous Initiatives team would like to personally invite our Indigenous faculty, staff and students to our end of term wellness gathering.

Help us welcome special guest and recognize Inuit Knowledge Keeper Naulaq LeDrew who will share with us stories of growing up Inuit in Canada and host a two day workshop where we will be making sealskin slippers.

Join the UTSC Indigenous Initiative team and the Student Life Indigenous Outreach Programing for a day of traditional ceremony, Teachings and celebration of Indigenous ways of knowing on the land. Lunch will be provided along with travel.

The Indigenous Initiatives team at UTSC invite our Indigenous faculty and staff to a Mix & Mingle in zoom. This is a great opportunity to connect and share what we are all working on and reflect on the past term as we plan for the winter.

To build a caring community, we aim to open respectful spaces to accompany those going through loss - students, faculty, and staff. Join us in this discussion that encompasses Mexico's biocultural heritage to celebrate the memories of a departed loved one.
