daughter of the Thamil Diaspora and a grassroots gender-justice advocate. She lives, works, and plays as a guest on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat Peoples.

Chenthoori currently works at the University of Toronto as the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Coordinator at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). She joined the Sexual Violence Prevention and Support Centre at UTSC in 2022 and has over ten years of experience working within the gender-based violence field. She holds a Masters in Social Work and incorporates a transformative healing justice framework, committed to cultivating a better world for all marginalized communities.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys, practising yoga, and smashing the patriarchy.
