Leading up to Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20th, we invite all U of T community members to attend the Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the UTSC campus. This is an opportunity to support Trans, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse communities, and to mourn the community members we have lost due to the violence of transphobia.
Featuring a vigil with speakers, performances, and refreshments, followed by a banner decorating activity, a community drop-in space, and an anti-oppression dialogue.
This event is hosted by UTSC campus organizations: SC:OUT, WTC, EDIO, and Positive Space.
