Addressing Islamophobia on Campus: Moving towards Allyship & Intervention
This workshop will explore the dynamics of Islamophobia by tracing its impacts on staff and students. The workshop will challenge participants to deeply reflect on the impact of Islamophobia and ways to engage in allyship and intervention. Case studies, resources, and recommendations for staff and students to support efforts to promote equity and inclusion within their spheres of influence will be explored.
The workshop will be facilitated by Aasiyah Khan from the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM).
